Näytä tavallinen näkymä : Donate parts from Dude to Pole Taiga
Hi all!
I am considering moving all parts from a bargain Dude to a Taiga frame. Any advice if I should avoid doing this? The dude has a Bluto and dropper post. Will I get stuck somewhere, apart from buying a bottom bracket and longer cables and brake hoses for the rear/dropper?
Thankful for any response!
You should be fine. Only thing that could be a problem is the length of the steerer tube in the fork? Is it the headtube longer in Taiga.. I think it is. Is there enough spacers in the dude setup to cover the difference?

Depending on size of your Dude length of the steerer tube might be problem. Dude's crankset won't fit to Taiga. As far I know only options for Taiga are RF cranksets for 190mm rear spacing and Hope. I would choose RF Turbine crankset, if aluminium crankset is preferred.
Ok thanks! The dude is size L, Taiga will be M. The dude steerer tube is 5 mm longer.
Oh, one more question. Is there any demand for Dude frames if I'm to sell it? Price for an almost brand new one, incl crankset?

Ok, so my research reveals an interest... 😊
Let's see. It hasn't arrived yet. It's from Canyons outlet. I'm 173 cm, but thinking of slamming on a short stem and give it a try before converting to a Taiga. I had a Mondraker Panzer M before with a longer reach than the Dude L.
