Pistää mietityttämään mitä ideaa on laittaa joissakin malleissa runkokolmioon kaksi yläputkea?

Hello to you all, and thank you for visiting our website and having a look at our models, it is nice to read the feedback you guys have written here with the questions that came up with the site or the models itself. Interesting and much appreciated. Sorry to hear that you guys were not a fan of some of the models, such as the double bar on the male models. This is just a design that is common with the Dutch transport bicycles today. In the old days the famous triangle shaped frame was there to add strength but these days the creating of the frames and material usage is quite developed and thus the triangle frame is not needed in "casual cruising" bicycles.

Thank you for making notice on the "assembling" of the bicycles, we are working on a video at the moment where we assemble the bicycle in details so that it is easier for people to assemble the bicycle themself. We do have instructions on pdf in Finnish, Swedish and English but as we are still working on getting the website completely done in details it might take a bit of time. After all we are just a start-up company of a few young guys.

I must admit that my words in the newspaper have been twisted a little bit, this might be due to lack of finnish skills from my side and the lack of english from the interviewer. Finnish bicycles are not bad, actually they are quite good and I have enjoyed cycling on a nice bicycle produced in Finland for many years. However the price of the bicycle is just a matter of opinion. When I bought my bicycle 4 - 5 years ago, it came without lights, without a basket, without a lock and it costed me 400 euro, I then spend an additional 100 euro on getting the bicycle ready.

As mentioned I enjoyed the bicycle and probably would have used it more years if I didnt got my daughter who is now 2 years old. I started cycling to the daycare and found myself in a position where I had to carry my daughters clothing in a plastic bag along the steering wheel, my laptop bag in the basket of my bike and my bagpack on my back in the face of my daughter. Not even mentioning the S-Market or K-Market shopping bag on the way home.

This is where the Dutch Transport bicycle comes in power with its front carrier which can hold a larger crate or basket to fit more in. Thus making it easier for parents to enjoy cycling, still carry their things with them on a more practical and safe way of doing. This is what we believe was missing in the Finnish market, a bicycle that is helping people riding a bike on a more daily basis and supporting them in their daily needs.

I hope you have a small insight in what we are trying to achieve and add to this society, after all there should be a bicycle for everybody :)

Thank you, and I wish to invite everybody to our location to come and test a bicycle and just feel for yourself what the quality and practicality is of our bicycles. We also offer installation and delivery services. So feel free to come by and grab a coffee with a dutch waffle.

best regards

Jeroen.
